Ewen Arts Festival

ARE YOU A YOOPER?

The Visitor Center invites the community of Ewen and surrounding area to participate in the 3rd Annual Arts Festival at Centennial Hall on August 6th, 2016, from 12pm – 5pm.

Artists from around the country are coming to Ewen in August to make art, exchange ideas, examine sustainability, and get to know the vibrant and resourceful community in the Upper Peninsula.

The Ewen Arts Festival will feature an exhibition of local and national artists, art demonstrations, workshops, and more! In the week leading up to the Ewen Arts Festival there will be art and sustainability discussions and presentations at Centennial Hall.

The festival is for all ages, admission to all public events is free, and art will be for sale. The public is invited to take part in our workshops during the festival to glaze a pot to be raku-fired or carve a low-relief sculpture to be cast in aluminum before their eyes!

Are you a local artist, craftsperson, musician, or performer?
